Empowering You Through Trauma-Informed Care

Becka Horner, MSW, LSW

Hi, my name is Becka. I’m a psychotherapist and licensed social worker dedicated to supporting individuals heal from trauma, interpersonal violence, and complex mental health challenges. I believe deeply that therapy is not just about symptom management, but about reclaiming connection – to ourselves, to others, and to the parts of life that bring us meaning and joy.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care, but I also bring in holistic practices that support the mind-body connection. As a registered yoga teacher with advanced certifications in trauma, addiction, and mental health, I often integrate mindfulness, breathwork, and yoga into therapy. These somatic tools can help clients release what has been carried in the body, strengthen resilience, and foster a renewed sense of safety and wholeness.

I currently practice as part of the clinical team at The Trauma Consulting, Training & Clinical Services in Madison, NJ, a private psychotherapy practice dedicated to supporting survivors of trauma. I offer both in-office and virtual appointments, with flexible scheduling to meet your needs. It is a privilege to work in a space where clients can show up authentically, explore their stories, and begin to write new ones – at their own pace and in their own way.

Outside of my professional work, I’m a lifelong learner, avid reader and traveler, devoted yogi, mother, and wife. I believe strongly in the power of community, creativity, and self-compassion – and it’s these values that guide both how I live and how I show up in sessions with my clients.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
